Ralph Steele was selected as Great Northwest Athletic Conference men’s basketball player of the week for his performance against Western Washington.

SEATTLE (Mar. 1) – Ralph Steele, who ignited Seattle Pacific University’s late comeback win over Western Washington, was selected as Great Northwest Athletic Conference men’s basketball player of the week after scoring a season-high 27 points.

Steele (Jr., 6-2, North Birmingham, Al.) scored 15 of his points in the final five minutes as the Falcons (10-6, 14-11) erased a 10-point deficit to win 98-93. He hit the go-ahead three-pointer with 30 seconds left and finished 7-9 from the field, 11-12 at the foul line.
