SEATTLE (Feb. 17) There was virtually no
movement in the NCAA Division II womens basketball rankings
this week, with Seattle Pacific University remaining No. 3 for the
second week in a row.
The unbeaten Falcons (22-0) are behind No. 1
California (Pa.), the only other undefeated team, and Missouris
Drury. In fact, the top five remain unchanged.
SPU takes a 37-game Great Northwest Athletic
Conference win streak and 55-game regular season win streak into
Thursday nights game at Western Oregon. It has been more
than two years (Feb. 7, 2002) since Seattle Pacific last lost on
the road.
Below is the USA TODAY/ESPN/WBCA Top 25
women's basketball poll, with first-place votes in parentheses,
total points based on 25 points for first place through one point
for 25th.
