SEATTLE (Feb. 16) -- Seattle Pacific University
freshman forward Dustin Bremerman (6-4, Yakima, Wa./Eisenhower)
was named men's basketball co-player of the week in the Great
Northwest Athletic Conference after totaling 42 points in a pair
of home wins.
Bremerman poured in a season-high of 29 points
to spark SPU to a 94-85 win over Northwest Nazarene and he added
13 plus eight rebounds and three steals in a 103-67 rout of
Seattle University. He connected on 15-27 field goals for the
week, including 4-7 three-pointers.
For the season Bremerman, a redshirt, is
averaging 11.6 points, third on the team.
He shared the GNAC award with Alaska Fairbanks'
Andrew Smith.
Seattle Pacific (7-6, 11-11) visits Saint
Martin's Thursday night.
