SEATTLE (Jan. 20) Seattle Pacific
University picked up its initial first-place vote and moved two
spots closer to the top of the NCAA Division II womens
basketball rankings, cracking the top five in this weeks
USA TODAY/ESPN poll conducted by the Womens
Basketball Coaches Association.
The Falcons (14-0) are one of four remaining
undefeated teams. They took advantage of losses by North Florida
and South Dakota State to move up from to No. 7 to No. 5.

Great Northwest Athletic Conference wins Thursday when it hosts
Humboldt State at 5:30.
