Falcon Women Climb Closer to the Top, Now No. 7
January 13, 2004

SEATTLE (Jan. 13) – Seattle Pacific University has climbed another step closer to the top of NCAA Division II women’s basketball. The undefeated Falcons moved up one spot to No. 7 in this week’s USA Today/ESPN rankings, conducted by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.

SPU takes a 12-0 record into Thursday night’s Great Northwest Athletic Conference game at Alaska Fairbanks. There are only four other unbeaten teams remaining in Div. II. California (Pa.) holds the No. 1 position again this week.
