Falcon's Poe Shares Women's Basketball Player of the Week in GNAC

SEATTLE (Jan. 12) – Unbeaten Seattle Pacific University’s Kristin Poe shared women’s basketball player of the week honors in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference following a couple gutsy performances last week.

Poe (Sr., 5-8, Enumclaw, Wa.) scored 32 points and also had 15 rebounds, eight assists and seven steals in wins over Western Washington and Seattle as the Falcons extended their regular-season win streak to 45 and their conference streak to 27. She equaled her career-high with 23 points against the Vikings, despite missing several minutes of the second half after taking a blow to the midsection and another to her knee.

Seattle Pacific (3-0, 12-0) plays at Alaska Fairbanks Thursday night.
