Seattle Pacific's Chivers Gets GNAC Men's Basketball Co-Player of Week

SEATTLE (Jan. 12) – Jason Chivers of Seattle Pacific University was named co-player of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference after sparking the Falcons to an upset of No. 2-ranked Humboldt State.

Chivers (Jr., 6-8, Los Angeles, Ca./Palmdale) totaled 40 points, 20 rebounds and four blocks last week. He scored 15 of his 22 points in the second half against Humboldt and had posted his seventh straight double double with 18 points and 14 rebounds against Western Oregon.

SPU (2-2, 6-7) visits Seattle University Thursday night at 7.
