To
celebrate the New Year and resumption of the basketball season
following the holidays, 400 mini basketballs will be given away to
Seattle Pacific fans prior to the doubleheader Thursday night,
Jan. 8, at Brougham Pavilion.
The soft, squeezable balls feature the Falcons'
logo on one side and the NCAA Basketball logo on the other. Use
them to relieve stress or for fantasy games around the
wastebasket. They're fun, free and yours to keep. But only if
you're among the first 200 people entering the student/general
admission section door before each game (one per person).
Seattle Pacific's unbeaten and No. 9-ranked
women's team plays arch-rival Western Washington in the 5:30 game
and the SPU men's squad squares-off with Western Oregon at
approximately 7:30. Miniballs will be distributed beginning at
5:05 and 7:05.
University students, faculty and staff get free
general admission with appropriate identification. Public ticket
prices are $5 for general admission ($3 for kids). Reserved
seating is $7 and $6.
