SEATTLE (Oct. 27) – For the second time this season Seattle Pacific University midfielder Shannon Lovejoy has been selected as the Great Northwest Athletic Conference women’s soccer player of the week.

Lovejoy ( So., Seattle, Wa./Seattle Prep) scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner in a 1-0 shutout of Seattle University which gave SPU (14-1-2) sole possession of first place. She also scored a goal in a 4-1 victory at Northwest Nazarene.

Lovejoy, who first won the award Sept. 2, leads the conference in goals with 12 and has scored at least one in four straight games and six of SPU’s last seven contests.
