SEATTLE (Oct. 27) – A rare hat trick by Jeremy Yerkes of Seattle Pacific University earned him a share of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference men’s soccer player of the week award.

Yerkes (Jr., Gresham, Or.) came off the bench to score three goals in the final 31 minutes, including the game-winner with 10:06 remaining, as the Falcons beat Humboldt 3-2. All three goals came off his head and it was SPU’s first hat trick in three years.

The Falcons (7-6-2) resume play Wednesday night when they host Simon Fraser.
