PHOENIX (Oct. 18) -- Ross Vaillancourt scored
the game's only goal with less than four minutes remaining in
regulation to lift Seattle Pacific University over Grand Canyon,
1-0 in a nonconference men's soccer game Saturday night.
Vaillancourt (So., Manchester, NH) played a
ball into Andy Willis (Fr., Gig Harbor, Wa.) at the top of the box
and then took a short return pass before shooting inside the near
post, past Canyon goalie Byron Bent with 3 minutes, 50 seconds
