Falcons Win Final Three Volleyball Games to Beat Humboldt in Five

ARCATA, Calif. (Oct. 16) – The Seattle Pacific University women’s volleyball team rallied from a two games to none deficit to beat Humboldt State University in five games, 30-23, 30-27, 24-30, 24-30, 16-14, in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference match Thursday night.

The Falcons (12-5, 5-5) lost the first two games to the Jacks (4-14, 2-8) before rallying to win the ensuing three and the match.

Jessica Bauder (Jr., Richland, Wa./Colorado Basin) led the Falcons with 18 kills along with 19 digs, while Katie Ralph added 16 (So., Port Orchard, Wa./E. Tennessee) terminations. Chelsey Myers (So., Minden, Nv./Douglas) and Andrea Pennington (Sr., Bellingham, Wa./Whatcom CC) recorded 22 digs apiece.

SPU concludes its three-match road trip this Saturday at Western Oregon.
