October 13, 2003

SEATTLE (Oct. 13) - Seattle Pacific University goalkeeper Jennifer Hull (Jr., Eugene, Or./Sheldon) earned women's soccer player of the week honors in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference after posting a pair of shutouts.

Hull recorded her sixth and seventh shutouts of the season as the Falcons (10-1-2) blanked Western Washington and Western Oregon by identical 1-0 scores. Hull had nine saves in the two contests and now has 40 saves on the season, while allowing just three goals. She leads the GNAC with a 0.24 GAA. Prior to the two shutouts, she ranked third nationally with a 0.28 GAA.

The award is the second for Hull this season. She also won it Sept. 8. SPU resumes play Saturday at Grand Canyon in Phoenix.
