SEATTLE (Sept. 15) - Jamie Witt of Seattle Pacific University earned Great Northwest Athletic Conference female cross country runner of the week for her victory at the Saint Martin's Open.

Witt (Jr., Folsom, CA) came from behind in the final 800 meters to win her first collegiate race. She was clocked in a time of 18:01.01 on the 5,000-meter course as she led the Falcons to a second-place team finish.

This Saturday the Falcons compete at the Central Washington Invitational in Ellensburg.
