SEATTLE, Wa. (Sept. 13)-Karen France scored twice and Michelle Sanders garnered a pair of assists as Seattle Pacific University routed Northwest Nazarene 7-0, in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's soccer match Saturday night at Interbay Stadium.

The victory was the Falcons (5-1-0, 2-1-0 GNAC) ninth straight at home, a streak that dates back to 2002.

Michelle Everson (So., Tacoma, Wa./Stadium) opened up scoring at 6:09 with a left side free kick from thirty yards out. Everson lofted the ball over the top of NNU keeper Shauna Voss and into the right corner of the net.

A Michelle Sanders (Jr., Centralia, Wa.) penalty-kick made it 2-0 (30:48) at half time.

In the second half of play, Seattle Pacific gained steam. The Falcons scored three times in five minutes beginning with an unassisted 16-yard strike from the foot of Allison Teague (So., Redmond, Wa./Bellevue Christian/Santa Clara) (46:47).

At 50:00, freshman Theresa Morelli (Bellevue, Wa./Bellevue Christian) garnered her second goal of the season and at 51:49, Karen France (Jr., Woodland Park, Co./Palmer) headed in her first, as teammate Shannon Lovejoy (So., Seattle, Wa./Seattle Prep.) slipped a pass to a streaking Sarah Melby (Jr., Mukilteo, Wa./Kamiak/Idaho). Melby crossed the ball from the right corner to the six-yard line and France finished with a header to the left post.

Heidi Jacobson (So., Kirkland, Wa./Cedar Park Christian/Gonzaga) put a Sanders pass to the left post at 66:18 to make it 6-0, Falcons. Sanders assisted again on France's final score at 73:43. Seattle Pacific set a new school record for shots in a match with 30. The previous mark of 27 was registered in Idaho against NNU in '02. The Crusaders managed one shot.
