GRAFTON, Australia (Sept. 12) - Redshirt
freshman Dustin Bremerman scored 27 points and center Jason
Chivers contributed 24 as Seattle Pacific University posted its
second rout in a row, 114-62 over the Grafton Vikings in an
exhibition men's basketball game Friday at the Grafton Basketball
Stadium.
Jordan Lee (Jr., 6-2, University Place,
Wa./Life Christian) pumped in 23 points for the Falcons, who
trailed early but then surged ahead 53-35 by halftime. They are
now 2-1 on the tour and next play the Southwest Pirates Monday.
Bremerman (Fr., 6-4, Yakima, Wa./Eisenhower),
who had 12 rebounds, Chivers (Jr., 6-8, Palmdale, Ca.), with 15,
and Jeff Knudson (So., 6-7, Mukilteo, Wa./Kamiak), with 10 points
and 10 boards, each had double-doubles. Point guard Tony Binetti
(So., 6-1, Enumclaw, Wa.) totaled 10 points and nine assists.
Grafton and Southwest are both second division
professional teams.
