Lovejoy Hat Trick Gets Her Share of GNAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week

SEATTLE (Sept. 2) -- Seattle Pacific University midfielder Shannon Lovejoy, who scored three goals in the Falcons’ first game, has been chosen women’s soccer co-player of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Lovejoy (So., Seattle, Wa./Seattle Prep) notched just the fourth hat trick in the SPU program history in sparking a 4-0 victory at Cal State L.A. She also added an assist. Her 10 shots on goal were a new school record.

SPU (2-1-0) hosts Sonoma State in its home opener Saturday at 3 in Interbay Stadium.
