Myers Earns GNAC Volleyball Co-Player of the Week

SEATTLE (Sept. 2) -- Chelsey Myers of Seattle Pacific University was selected as volleyball co-player of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference after leading the Falcons to four straight wins and the Canyon Court Classic title in Phoenix.

Myers (OH, 5-10, So., Minden, NV) led SPU with 55 kills and hit for a .293 percentage. She also contributed 56 digs in earning all-tournament honors.

Seattle Pacific (4-0) hosts the SPU/Comfort Suites Classic beginning Friday at Brougham Pavilion. The Falcons face unbeaten UC Davis (3-0) in their first match, at 7 p.m.
