Selah's Shuyler Signs to Play Volleyball at SPU

SEATTLE (June 2) - Liz Shuyler of Selah High School, has signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball at Seattle Pacific University.

Shuyler, a 6-foot middle, led the Mid-Valley League in blocking while setting a school record with 225 during the season. The Vikings were 31-5 and finished seventh in the state 3A tournament last fall. Shuyler has also played for both Club Selah and Team Yakima.

Seattle Pacific head coach Kellie Ryan has taken her teams to the NCAA Division II tournament two of the past three seasons.
