Kraybill Selected As West Region Women's Track Athlete of Year

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (May 22) - Sarah Kraybill, standout middle-distance runner for Seattle Pacific University, has been selected as the West Region Athlete of the Year by the NCAA Division II Cross Country/Track and Field Coaches Association.

Kraybill (Sr., Seattle, Wa./Ballard), who also won the regional award for the past indoor season, won 11 of 16 races from 400 to 1500 meters this spring and finished no lower than third in any race.

She is the No. 3 NCAA qualifier in the 800 and won both the 800 and 1500 titles at the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championships, finishing second in the 400.
