SEATTLE (Apr. 1) -- Ally Studer of Seattle Pacific University has been selected as women's track & field co-athlete of the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Studer (Jr., Redmond, Wa.) pole vaulted 12 feet, 1½ inches to tie for first place at the Hornet Invitational and become the top qualifier in NCAA Division II this season. Studer had cleared 11-6 to finish fifth at the Stanford Invitational, also last week.

The Falcons resume competition Saturday in Bellingham at the Vernacchia Team Classic.
