The Falcons are currently ranked No. 2 in the NCAA Division II national poll and first in the West Region.

With tonight's victory over the Saints (1-2, 5-7), the Falcons (13-0, 4-0) established a new program record for the best start, previously held by the 1997-98 team that reached the Elite Eight. Seattle Pacific also extended its program-record home winning streak to 26 games.

Seattle Pacific never trailed Saint Martin's in the contest and had the game all but wrapped up by midway through the first half of play. The Falcons jumped out to a 33-9 start at the 6:40 mark in the first half and extended their lead to a game-high 41 points by the end of the contest.

Carli Smith (Fr., 5-11, Spokane, Wa./Valley Christian) notched her second double-double in as many nights with 11 points and 10 rebounds. She also added a career-high four steals. Kerie Hughes (Sr., 5-6, Mount Vernon, Wa./Mount Vernon) and Stephanie Urrutia (Sr., 5-9, Sunnyside, Wa./Sunnyside) recorded 14 and 13 points, respectively.

The Falcons out-rebounded the Saints 57-to-33 and converted more than half their shot attempts for the second time in three nights at 52 percent.
