Daniel Sandrin (Sr., 6-7, Bothell, Wa./Bothell)
scored the go-ahead basket on an 8-footer from the right baseline

the top of the key on the next possession, Aziz snatched the
rebound. He made one of two free throws with 23 seconds remaining.
Terry Thompson cast off a 25-footer with 4
seconds to go. It missed wide left and Jason Chivers of SPU snared
the rebound. He was fouled and missed a free throw but Central
could not get off another shot.
The Falcons (2-0), who shot 56 percent (30-54)
from the field, have now beaten the Wildcats in three straight
meetings and six of the last seven.

hitting 7-8 field goals, including 5-6 treys. Aziz (Sr., 6-4,
