SEATTLE (Nov. 20) -- Jenna Von Moos, the
standout setter for Stanwood High School, has signed a national
letter of intent to play volleyball for Seattle Pacific
University.
Von Moos, a 5-foot-10 senior, is four-time
all-Wesco selection and helped lead the Spartans to the state 4A
tournament this fall. She was a consensus all-area player her
final three years.
Playing for the Washington Volleyball Academy,
she was the club's MVP and captain last year.
Seattle Pacific qualified for the NCAA Division
II playoffs in both 2000 and 2001 under Coach Kellie Ryan. The
Falcons lost only one senior from the team which was 9-16 this
season, with six of the losses to nationally-ranked teams.
