November 20, 2002

SEATTLE (Nov. 20) -- Jenna Von Moos, the standout setter for Stanwood High School, has signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball for Seattle Pacific University.

Von Moos, a 5-foot-10 senior, is four-time all-Wesco selection and helped lead the Spartans to the state 4A tournament this fall. She was a consensus all-area player her final three years.

Playing for the Washington Volleyball Academy, she was the club's MVP and captain last year.

Seattle Pacific qualified for the NCAA Division II playoffs in both 2000 and 2001 under Coach Kellie Ryan. The Falcons lost only one senior from the team which was 9-16 this season, with six of the losses to nationally-ranked teams.
