Eleven Runners Make Academic All-GNAC Team
November 4, 2002

SEATTLE (Nov. 4) -- Nathanael Castle, Ruth Hawkinson and Scott Van Hess each earned their third academic all-conference cross country selections and were among 11 Seattle Pacific University runners honored by the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Castle (Sr., Gooding, Id.) and Van Hess (Sr., Salem, Or./McKay). were joined by teammates Paul Mach (Jr., Seattle, Wa./King's), Tim Marston (Jr., Pullman, Wa./Logos), Clint Bjella (So., Everett, Wa./Everett), Aaron Libadisos (So., Kailua-Kona, Hi./Kealakehe), Ryan Nash (Sr., Spokane, Wa./Mead) on the men's team. Nash,

Marston and Mach were repeat selections.

Four women made the team: Hawkinson (Sr., Roy, Wa./Yelm), Nicole Seana (Jr., Carnation, Wa./Kamiakin), Kirsten Bjork (Jr., Olympia, Wa./Black Hills) and Sarah Kraybill (Sr., Seattle, Wa./Ballard). It was the second selection for Seana, Kraybill and Bjork.
