SEATTLE (Oct. 21) -- Seattle Pacific University goalkeeper Erin Pierce earned women's soccer player of the week honors in the Great Northwest Conference after allowing only one goal in 152 minutes of action during the Falcons' two latest victories.

Pierce (Fr., Milwaukie, Or./Rex Putnam) made a season-high six saves in Seattle Pacific's 5-1 win over GNAC leader Western Oregon. She also played 64 scoreless minutes vs. Grand Canyon in a 3-0 win.

The Falcons (9-4-2), now unbeaten in their last seven and winners of five in a row, resume action Saturday at Northwest Nazarene.
