SEATTLE (Sept. 30) --Michael Brkich of Seattle Pacific University was chosen as Great Northwest Athletic Conference men's soccer player of the week after scoring a goal and adding an assist in the Falcons win and draw.

Brkich (So., Vancouver, BC) scored assisted on the first of four second-half goals in a 4-0 shutout of Chico State. The midfielder also scored in that game and fired two shots which forced saves in the 1-1 tie at Western Washington.

The Falcons (5-3-1) host No. 3-ranked Cal State Dominguez Hills Saturday at 7 at Interbay Stadium.
