SEATTLE (June 11) -- Ross Vaillancourt, a
recruit bound for Seattle Pacific University this fall, is among
36 of the nation's top high school soccer players selected to play
in the POWERade McDonald's All-America High School Soccer Game
Saturday (June 15) on Daniel Island in Charleston, S.C.
The boys, selected by the National Soccer
Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), hail from 33 states and
represent the top players who participated in high school soccer
during the 2001-2002 school year.
Vaillancourt, a midfielder for New Hampshire's
Manchester West , is a two-time Parade All-America selection and
will play for the East. He signed a national letter of intent with
SPU Feb. 27.
