SEATTLE (May 1) -- A total of 17 Seattle
Pacific University student-athletes 13 women and four men
have been named to the 2002 Great Northwest Athletic Conference
Track and Field Academic all-conference team.
The Falcons led all teams in number of women's
selections. That included repeat choices Stephanie Huffman, Sarah
Kraybill and Morgan Ranta. Repeating as a men's selection was
Nathanael Castle.
To be eligible for the academic team,
student-athletes must have a minimum grade point average of 3.20
and be in their second year of competition at their university.
