SEATTLE (Apr. 29) -- Intermediate hurdler Paul Mach of Seattle Pacific University has been selected as the Great Northwest Athletic Conference track & field male co-athlete of the week.

Mach (So., Seattle, Wa./King's) won the day session of the Oregon Invitational 400 hurdles in 53.72 seconds--the fastest time in the GNAC this season and No. 2 all-time at SPU. He will defend his conference title at the GNAC Championships, which will be held Saturday in Bellingham.
