SEATTLE (Apr. 22) -- Cynthia Reed, a Level 10 gymnast from Antioch, California, has signed a national letter of intent to attend Seattle Pacific University.

Reed has competed for Golden Bear Gymnastics in Berkeley, the same club which produced Seattle Pacific multiple school record-holder Alison Siegel-McAfee. Last year Reed won the Level 9 USAIGC all-around title and finished seventh nationally in USAG. She attends Deer Valley High School.

SPU, under Coach Laurel Tindall, took fourth place at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championships earlier this month. The Falcons lose three seniors, including Siegel-McAfee.
