SEATTLE (Apr. 19) -- Brittney Kroon, a 6-foot-4 all-state center from Wasilla, Alaska, has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball at Seattle Pacific University.

Kroon is coming off a senior season in which she led Wasilla to the state 4A championship game by averaging 17.1 points, 10.3 rebounds and 4.5 blocked shots per game. In addition to making the all-state team she was Region III MVP and was selected to the state all-tournament team.

Seattle Pacific was 22-6 this past season and earned an NCAA Division II playoff berth for the sixth year in a row under Coach Gordy Presnell. The Falcons will return all five starters.
