SEATTLE (Mar. 18) -- Seattle Pacific University' Rachel Ross was selected as Great Northwest Athletic Conference female track & field co-athlete of the week after winning the 800 meters at the Long Beach Classic.

Ross (Sr., Kennewick, Wa.) picked up the 25th outdoor middle-distance victory of her career in an NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time of 2 minutes, 13.02 seconds. It was her fourth straight regular season 800 title, dating back to last season. Her string of six outdoor wins in a row was snapped by a third-place finish in the 1500 in 4:38.10.
