SEATTLE (Mar. 11) -- Stephanie Huffman (Sr., Brush Prairie, Wa./Prairie) of Seattle Pacific University was selected as Great Northwest Athletic Conference track & field athlete of the week for her NCAA-qualifying javelin throw and three top-four finishes at the Salzman Invitational.

Huffman made the Division II provisional list in the javelin with a mark of 138-8. She also took second in the long jump (18-0 1/2)­her longest since 1999­and fourth in the high jump (5-3 3/4). Her shot put of 35-2 1/2 was less than three inches off her PR.
