SEATTLE (Mar. 4) -- Nick Johnson, who scored a total of 40 points last week as Seattle Pacific University claimed a share of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference title, was selected as GNAC co-player of the week for the first time this season.

Johnson (Sr., 6-3, Burlington, Wa./Burlington-Edison) hit the game-tying basket with 18 seconds left in the 9th-ranked Falcons' 81-78 victory over No. 5 Humboldt State. He finished with 15 points and had scored 25 earlier in the week versus Western Oregon. For the week he hit 14-27 field goals (5-11 three-pointers).
