SEATTLE (Feb. 25) -- Point guard Kerie Hughes of Seattle Pacific University shared Great Northwest Athletic Conference women's basketball co-player of the week for sparking the Falcons to a pair of crucial wins on the road.

Hughes (Jr., 5-6, Mount Vernon, Wa.) led SPU to two road victories, including a double overtime win at Western Oregon. In that contest, she had 22 points, 10 rebounds, six assists and two steals and finished the two-game set with 37 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists and three steals.

Seattle Pacific (13-4, 21-5) can clinch a sixth straight trip to the NCAA Division II tournament when it hosts Central Washington Saturday.
