SEATTLE (Feb. 25) -- Eric Sandrin, Seattle
Pacific University center, earned men's basketball co-player of
the week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference after leading
the Falcons to a rare road sweep in Alaska.
Sandrin (Sr., 6-10, Bothell, Wa./Shorecrest)
hit on 14 of 21 shots and scored 35 points in victories over
Alaska Anchorage and Alaska Fairbanks. He also had 14 rebounds,
seven assists, three blocks and three steals, despite seeing
limited time in a lopsided 35-point win at Fairbanks. Against
Anchorage he posted his second double-double of the season: 18
points and 12 boards.
Seattle Pacific (14-2, 22-3), ranked No. 9 in
NCAA Division II, completes the regular season by hosting Western
Oregon Thursday and No. 5 Humboldt State Saturday.
