SEATTLE (Feb. 19) -- Seattle Pacific University
rose four spots to No. 15 in this week's NCAA Division II women's
basketball poll. The Falcons (11-4, 19-5) resume Great Northwest
Athletic Conference play Thursday at Humboldt State.
SPU is one of five West Region teams included
in this week's top 25. Cal Poly Pomona is No. 2, Western
Washington No. 15, Cal State Bakersfield No. 21 and Montana State
Billings 24th in the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll. Missouri Western
reclaimed the No. 1 ranking from Cal Poly Pomona following a loss
by the Broncos.
