SEATTLE (Feb. 4) -- Outside marksmanship and constant harassment on the defensive end earned Seattle Pacific University guard Maurice Cato his second Great Northwest Athletic Conference co-player of the week award.

Cato (6-0, Jr., Fairfield, CA ­ Skyline JC) led the Falcons to two double-digit victories, contributing 35 points (game highs of 19 against Saint Martin¹s and 16 against Central Washington), seven assists and five steals. He played solid defense in the two contests and also helped stretch zones by hitting six of nine three-point shots. Overall, he made 11 of 17 shots and seven of eight free throws.

The No. 8-ranked Falcons (10-1, 18-2) resume play Thursday night at Seattle University.
