SEATTLE (Jan. 30) -- Both the men's and women's
basketball teams at Seattle Pacific University remain in position
to make the NCAA Division II tournament, based on this week's West
Region rankings.
The top six teams will receive postseason
berths in March and currently the Falcons are No. 3 in the men's
regional ratings and No. 6 in the women's. That represents a drop
of one place by the men from last week and two places for the
women. Both suffered a road loss last week.
The men host Saint Martin's Thursday night at
7:30 in Brougham Pavilion, immediately following the women's game
between SPU and Northwest Nazarene at 5:30.
