SEATTLE (Jan. 21) -- For the third week in a
row, Seattle Pacific University not only remains among the top 10
men's basketball teams in NCAA Division II but it improved its
ranking.
The Falcons, after winning their 15th straight
game, are now No. 8 with a record of 15-1. They also hold a slim
one-game lead in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference standings
at 7-0.
That lead and ranking may be in jeopardy
Thursday night when SPU visits No. 10 Humboldt State (6-1, 15-1)
in Arcata, Ca. It is the only game between top-10 teams in
Division II this week.
Cal State San Bernardino moved to No. 1 in the
Division II Bulletin's new ratings. The Coyotes (15-0) are one of
two remaining undefeated teams.
