SEATTLE (Dec. 21) -- Seattle Pacific University
remained steady at No. 8 in this week's NCAA Division II women's
basketball rankings.
The Falcons (8-1), who defeated both Kentucky
Wesleyan and Stonehill (Ma.) at the Coconut Classic in Hawaii
earlier this week, are now idle until Dec. 28 when the visit No.
3-ranked Cal Poly Pomona, the defending national champion.
The entire top 10 of the rankings remained
unchanged. Northern Kentucky heads the list, followed by North
Dakota and Pomona.
Two other Great Northwest Athletic Conference
members also made the poll. Western Washington is No. 18 and
Central Washington is No. 24.
