Hilo, Hawaii. (Dec. 18) -- Kelley Berglund
(Jr., 6-3, Port Angeles, Wa./Washington State) recorded team-highs
of 21 points and nine rebounds to lead the Seattle Pacific
University women's basketball team past Stonehill College 76-64 in
a non-conference game at the Coconut Coast Classic in Hilo, Hawaii
on Tuesday. The Falcons are currently ranked No. 8 in the WBCA/USA
Today national coaches poll.
The Falcons (1-1, 8-1) maintained a high
single-digit lead over a quality Lady Chieftains (6-3) team that

Stonehill was forced to foul continiously for possession.

helped seal the Falcon victory and a clean two-game sweep of the
Hawaiian tournament.
SPU earned a season-high 36 trips to the
free-throw line on 25 personal fouls by Stonehill, the second-most
for any Falcon opponent this season. No Lady Chieftain fouled out,
but four finished the game with four fouls.
