SEATTLE (Dec. 10) -- Maurice Cato, who scored 28 points in the second half and overtimes of Seattle Pacific University's 101-100 double overtime win at Central Washington, was named Great Northwest Athletic Conference Player of the Week in men's basketball.

Cato (Jr., 6-0, Fairfield, Ca.), who also had 10 points and three steals as the Falcons won their sixth straight at Saint Martin's, had seven points in the second overtime period at Ellensburg. His two free throws with 2 seconds left sealed the victory.
