SEATTLE (Nov. 7) -- Seattle Pacific
University's Andrea Larsen, the Great Northwest Athletic
Conference co-leader in goals, was joined by teammates Michelle
Sanders and Erin Roberts on the all-GNAC women's soccer team
announced Wednesday.
Larsen (Sr., Portland, Or./Central Catholic), a
forward who transferred from Oklahoma State, led the first-year
Falcon program to a surprising 8-10-1 record with 10 goals. Her 25
points ranks third in the GNAC.
Roberts (Jr., Issaquah, Wa.), a sweeper, was
second on the team with four goals while Sanders (Fr., Centralia,
Wa.), a midfielder, topped SPU with six assists and was second to
Larsen with 12 points overall.
Earning honorable mention for Seattle Pacific
were midfielder LeRin Farrison (Jr., Vancouver, Wa./Mountain
View-Highline CC), defender Katie Lim (Fr., Hillsboro,
Or./Hillsboro) and goalkeeper Jennifer Hull (Fr., Eugene,
Or./Sheldon).
Seattle University's Nichole Sauvageau was
selected as player of the year. The Redhawks' Julie Woodward and
Western Oregon's Rod Fretz shared coach of the year.
