November 7, 2001

SEATTLE (Nov. 7) -- Seattle Pacific University's Andrea Larsen, the Great Northwest Athletic Conference co-leader in goals, was joined by teammates Michelle Sanders and Erin Roberts on the all-GNAC women's soccer team announced Wednesday.

Larsen (Sr., Portland, Or./Central Catholic), a forward who transferred from Oklahoma State, led the first-year Falcon program to a surprising 8-10-1 record with 10 goals. Her 25 points ranks third in the GNAC.

Roberts (Jr., Issaquah, Wa.), a sweeper, was second on the team with four goals while Sanders (Fr., Centralia, Wa.), a midfielder, topped SPU with six assists and was second to Larsen with 12 points overall.

Earning honorable mention for Seattle Pacific were midfielder LeRin Farrison (Jr., Vancouver, Wa./Mountain View-Highline CC), defender Katie Lim (Fr., Hillsboro, Or./Hillsboro) and goalkeeper Jennifer Hull (Fr., Eugene, Or./Sheldon).

Seattle University's Nichole Sauvageau was selected as player of the year. The Redhawks' Julie Woodward and Western Oregon's Rod Fretz shared coach of the year.
