SEATTLE (Nov. 6) -- Monica Abrahamson repeated as a member of the Academic All-Great Northwest Athletic Conference volleyball team for the third year in a row and was joined by four Seattle Pacific University teammates in the selections announced today.

The Falcons, who are 19-6 entering their final two regular season matches, were second among the 10 GNAC schools with five selections.

Abrahamson (Sr., Spokane, Wa./Rogers) is an accounting major with a 3.30 grade point average. First-time selections were Leah Wiiest (Sr., Spokane, Wa./Deer Park), an English major with a 3.60 GPA; Lesley Kamphouse (Sr., Sumas, Wa./Nooksack Valley), a psychology major with a 3.23; Katy Higgins (So., Kirkland, Wa./Redmond), a psychology major with a 3.51; and Beth Untz (So., West Covina, Ca./Covina), a sociology major with a 3.41.
