SEATTLE (Oct. 30) -- Sweeper Erin Roberts, one
of two seniors on Seattle Pacific University's first-year women's
soccer team, was one of three selections to the Academic All-Great
Northwest Athletic Conference team announced today.
Roberts (Issaquah, Wa./Issaquah), the Falcons'
No. 2 scorer with four goals, is an educational ministry major
with a 3.47 grade point average. Joining her on the team are
Anna-Kate Peterson (So., Portland, Or./Cleveland) and Sarah
Richards (So., Bellevue, Wa./Newport). Peterson, a communications
major, has a 3.20 GPA and Richards, a European studies major, has
a 3.65.
Seattle Pacific (8-8-1) hosts Seattle
University Thursday night with the winner assured of at least a
share of the GNAC title.
The Falcons (10-6-1) are ranked No. 21 in NCAA
Division II and are in contention of ra playoff berth going into
the final two regular season games.
