SEATTLE (Oct. 29) -- Andrea Larsen of Seattle
Pacific University was selected as the Great Northwest Athletic
Conference women's soccer co-player of the week after scoring four
goals and assisting on one other in a pair of Falcon victories.
Larsen (Sr., Portland, Or./Central
Catholic-Oklahoma State) notched the first hat trick in the SPU
program's brief history with three goals in Saturday's 6-0 defeat
of Northwest Nazarene. She has 10 goals going into Thursday
night's game with Seattle University. That contest, which
kicks-off at 7 p.m. at Interbay Stadium, will likely determine the
GNAC conference championship.
This marks the second time this season that
Larsen has been chosen as player of the week. She had a goal and
set-up Alissa Peterson's last-minute game-winner vs. Humboldt
State Oct. 22. |
