SEATTLE (Oct. 29) -- Seattle Pacific University's Leah Wiiest was chosen as Great Northwest Athletic Conference volleyball co-player of the week after totaling 34 kills and hitting for a .420 average in home victories over Seattle University and Northwest Nazarene.

Wiiest (Sr., Spokane, Wa./Deer Park) also had 22 digs and two blocks as the Falcons stayed in contention for an NCAA playoff berth.

SPU hosts Alaska Fairbanks Friday night and Alaska Anchorage Saturday.
