LAKE STEVENS, Wash. (Oct. 27) -- Seattle
Pacific University's fall rowing season got underway Saturday with
wins in six of the seven entered races at the Bull Trout 4-Miler
on Lake Stevens.
Among the victorious Falcon boats were the
women's lightweight four, novice four, varsity four and varsity
eight and the men's novice and varsity fours. The men's novice
eight was runner-up by one-tenth of a second.
The SPU crews will be back at Lake Stevens
Saturday (Nov. 3) for the James Gardiner Challenge Cup.
